Last year, with the community’s support, The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton was able to support hundreds of children and their families during the holiday season. We are reaching out to the community to help support our program again this year.
While many look forward to celebrating the holiday season and sharing gifts with loved ones, those who are struggling as a result of housing or food insecurity often find this time of year to be stressful. Imagine having to choose between buying groceries and providing a gift for your child. For some of the parents with whom we work, providing the holiday experience they know would make their child happy, is unimaginable.
With your help, we can provide assistance to families who find this time of year to be a challenge. In-kind and monetary contributions to the agency’s Sponsorship Program or Toy Room are greatly appreciated.
We hope that we can count on your support this year to help make the 2018 holiday season a memorable occasion for all. Attached you will find the guidelines for this year’s Sponsorship Program as well as a Map to the Agency. Please note, there have been some revisions to the program to enable a more personalized experience for donors and families.
